The Co-op store in Faversham Road is a real gem, it is always well stocked and through lockdown it provided a real local service for its regular customers. The Rose in Bloom pub and restaurant in Joy Lane, which can be reached on foot, is a community spirited establishment .

Whitstable town is easily accessed and we can recommend walking along the beach for a visit to one of the many cafes sand restaurants; there are a number of walking routes into Whitstable from Seasalter which enable you to avoid using the main road. Shopping in Whitstable town provides you with most of your needs and car parking is free until 10am.

Ladysmith Grove has a caring attitude to its neighbours and during lockdown a WhatsApp group was established and continued after restrictions were lifted."
